Our Story

Lavish was founded by Ryan Lyeth in 1999 and specializes in all aspects of audio, video, and control. Ryan has always had an affinity for technology. Before he could even read, Ryan would spend hours studying diagrams of electricity and wiring. His great love of engineering and electronics eventually led to the creation of Lavish, with the mission of helping people get the most enjoyment, convenience, and performance from their technology.

Ryan’s passion, paired with his carefully assembled team of career professionals, has made Lavish a valued local independent alternative to the impersonal service of big-box stores. At the heart of Lavish are our relationships with our customers. We take time to fully understand your needs and find ways to achieve them while sticking within your budget. Whether you’re looking for a new amplifier or want to design a custom home theater, we love having the opportunity to share our expertise.

The Lavish Showroom is our retail division, located in downtown Santa Rosa. Come in and take a look around – you’ll feel inspired by the possibilities. Our AV specialists are happy to give you demos on any of our curated systems or let you explore at your own pace. We can recommend products that are compatible with your existing equipment or help you design a new system to better meet your needs. 

Our custom installation division in Healdsburg provides automation services to help residential and commercial clients get more from their technology. We design and install a wide range of smart systems – from lighting control and window shades to home security – to make your life simplified, elegant, and energy-efficient. Additionally, we design and install home theater systems and whole-house audio, set up computer networks and phone systems, and much more.
